We believe exceptional horses are built with patience, consistency and the right foundation. Every horse at Empire Bloodstock LLC receives hands-on attention, proper nutrition, individualized training and quality time to help them reach their potential.
THOUGHTFUL DEVELOPMENT AT EVERY STAGE
We start every foal with patient, consistent handling: haltering, leading, grooming, and standing quietly for the farrier. Quality forage, age-appropriate feed, and daily turnout support steady, healthy growth. As they develop toward the yearling sale, they learn to lead, stand, and walk with confidence.
Building on early foundations, daily hand-walking, grooming, and consistent handling develop confidence and good manners. We practice trailer loading, walker routines, leading, and standing for inspection. Quality nutrition, forage, and turnout support healthy growth as each yearling is prepared for the October sale.
We introduce the saddle and rider gradually, beginning with round pen work, ground driving, and figure-eight exercises. Each horse progresses at its own pace, emphasizing calm manners, balance, responsiveness, and trust. Daily care, nutrition, and turnout support the horse throughout its early education.
Our two-year-old program builds fitness step by step through jogging, galloping, and breezing, adjusted to each horse's development and response. Swimming and supplemental conditioning may be incorporated when appropriate. We prepare each horse to present its potential at the two-year-old sales and transition confidently to its next trainer.
Each horse is introduced to the pool patiently, building comfort and confidence before increasing distance. Swimming can support fitness and strength while limiting repetitive impact. Conditioning is tailored to each horse's age, progress, and needs, with proper nutrition, turnout, and recovery between sessions.
Every horse receives hands-on attention through grooming, hand-walking, and a steady daily routine. We provide quality forage, age-appropriate feed, suitable supplements where needed, and regular turnout. Consistent handling builds trust and supports relaxed, confident horses.
We prepare each horse to show at its best through grooming, conditioning, and practice walking and standing for inspection. We help horses become comfortable with the activity surrounding buyers and sales grounds, and coordinate transportation preparation and relevant veterinary or repository details. Attentive care continues through sale day.
